In 1989, Cape Town resident Sandra O'Connell set out to make chocolates. Not just any chocolates, but creatively hand-crafted chocolates to tempt with both the price and the product.
Before long, the most delectable chocolate creations began to flow from Parow North in Cape Town being delivered nationwide as well as internationally via courier. A great collection of chocolate moulds, beautiful packaging, the finest ingredients and a passion for perfection soon captured the attention of private customers, hotels, caterers and event planners.
The House of Chocolates has grown to boast its own in-house mould and giftbox-making departments, allowing even more choice for their clients.
Today The House of Chocolates' foundation remain anchored in a family-owned business and their reputation of service excellence.
